Pt. 4: A False Hope

In today's message, we will uncover how the enemy, though defeated at the cross, continues to work by distracting believers with misplaced expectations and temporary solutions. Just like the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, we often struggle to recognize Jesus in the midst of our confusion, clinging to false hopes instead of God's eternal promises. Through this story in Luke 24, we learn the importance of identifying where our hope has gone wrong, surrounding ourselves with godly counsel, inviting Jesus into every part of our lives, and ultimately sharing the transformation with others.

True hope is not found in what we think Jesus should do, but in who He is—and when we allow Him to shift our perspective, our hearts can burn with fresh faith, ready to testify to His goodness.
